Shona Wise ICMG
I have been grooming since I was 18yrs old but was fascinated by it even before then. I have worked in a salon, boarding kennel , veterinary clinic and for the past 16yrs in my own salon Fur Babies Dog Grooming and as an instructor of the grooming course in the Animal Care Program at Sheridan College.
Pet Grooming is a huge part of my life and I believe that you can always learn something new no matter how many dogs you've groomed so continuing education is hugely important.
The ODGA is a wonderful educational organization and I am honored to be part of it. I look forward to organizing and taking part in our future events and growth.
Helen graduated from grooming school in 1993 and opened "The Pet Spa" in Brampton shortly after. As well as running her salon, Helen has also been a professor in the Animal Care Program at Sheridan College for the past 16 years. She has found a passion in teaching new students basic grooming skills.
On a personal level, Helen enjoys spending time at the cottage with her husband, children and grandchildren. She loves to travel, especially cruising.
